Knowledge of another language does more than help you to understand the locals a little better on holiday, a thorough knowledge expands your world and breaks down barriers. However like anything worth doing, it does not happen overnight. It can be a slow progress at times, but quick at others. It is comparable to climbing a mountain: a lengthy journey - but one day you will look back and be happily surprised to see how much progress you have made without realising.
Learning a language and building a home have a lot in common. The foundations may not be interesting but you just can't skip them and jump to the exciting cushions and curtain fabrics!. In language, foundations or structure mean that old-fashioned word "grammar" and in the Latin languages which I teach, some 50% of the grammar means "verbs". Every sentence contains a verb so if you are unclear over them you will always be unclear on how to put sentences together. Every linguist will tell you this. However, you can do as much or as little as you wish and I will work with what you want to do.
When you learn with Rosalind’s Language Tuition, you will be encouraged and helped as much as possible. Whatever your experience, I have probably seen it before. The lessons usually includes a variety of activities to improve your speaking, reading, listening and if wished, writing.
